A lucky beginning?

Dad happily called mi last nite....to cfm wif moi the car plate no. of the car we test-drove yesterdae aftn. Haha. ((rewind)) We actuali went to view a few cars last wkend and test-drived a honda jazz. But in the end, we still hv out hearts settled on the cute little swift. Tinking dat a totally new car is still pretty steep for us, DD went online to surf for 2nd hand cars. And he saw one which seemed pretty reasonable & hence, we went to take a look yesterdae aftn. Dad went wif us as well!

But after the test-drive, we decided against it as the mileage seem to b veri high for a car dat's juz a year old. Half of that of dad's car, which is onli abt 3 yr old. And dad keep happing on how risky getting a 2nd hand car was....plus other hidden cost like transfer fee etc.... And hence, we headed down to the authorised dealer to take a 2nd look at a new swift again! keke... And along the way, dad exclaimed dat he noted that this 2nd hand swift hv the same car plate no as one of his previous car "9194". And so, he happily announced dat he hv had to go buy 4D! Haha... And even said if he strike 1st prize, he'll give us $10K to subsidise our purchase of a car! Wahaha... end up, this no. came out as a winning no indeed! Unbelievable! But...er... as a consolation no. la! But better than nothin! Muz b a cheap thrill for dad coz i tink he hvnt strike ani no.s for quite sometime oredi....kekekeke..... Wonder if dat 2nd hand swift's owner hv bought his own car no. or mebe he might even b considering to retain his old lucky car no. for his new one! Haha

Hope our new car plate no. will b as lucky too!!....that is...if we do get one eventually.... haha... And DD & I r oredi tinking of a 'name' for our new babe now!!! hee hee
