Need a break desparately

Realised it's not realli a wise move to juz save all my current yr's leave till next year 2 utilise for mi honeymoon. In doing so, i'm causing myself to suffer from a serious burnt-out at work. The endless projects, the high stress level & all the tight deadlines r taking a toil on mi. The quality of mi work is suffering & i'm starting to be pissed off by everyone...including mi big boss. haha....& showing mi big boss a grouchy face + showing resistance to new projects are certainly CLM!! Or even CTM!! CLM aka Career limiting Move! CTM aka Career Terminating Move. haha....juz learned these 2 new terms from a colleague who's back for a break from her 1.5yrs attachment @ Belgium office. Coolzz!!

Aniwei, to put an end to my "depression" mode these few weeks lately, finalli decided to apply for leave next Tues & Wed!! Yay!!!! Cant wait!!!


Was in such a bad mood last fri dat i decided to juz go hm to sleep straight after work. Then DD said he'll come & cheer mi up *hees* so in the end, i tot of watching midnite show. Tink everyone rite now are scarmbling to watch the latest Harry Potter show. After a few frustrating tries to book tix online, finalli managed to get 2 tix at Tamps at 12:50am. haha...DD almoz fainted. He dont realli like to watch movies so late & alwez end up sleeping in the threater. hees...but as usual, he obliged la....so we drove to tamps ard 11pm. Alamak...Tamps Mall carpark is under reno & so we parked at Century Sq instead. But suddenly it struck us dat the carpark may close b4 our show ended. And indeed, it's onli open till ard 2am i tink. Aiyo.....luckily there's a grace period of 10mins, so we drove out to the nearby HDB carpark instead.

Then on sat morn, we met up wif DD's colleague who brought us to his fren's lighting shop to buy our lights. The variety there is pretty good & price is reasonable. We're even given 30% discount. hehe... in the end, we bought a total of 27 lights for $1.2K. Aniwei, this particular shop is at Geylang & all the parking slots are parallel. Am hving difficulty trying to get into a slot. Realli sweating like mad liaoz. Then all a sudden, a man appeared behind the car & started to direct mi into the slot. He signalled mi to how much i can reverse. At first we tot he happens to come to retrieve his car 2 drive off & came over 2 help when he saw dat i'm hving difficulty. But guess wat. In the end, after we managed to park the car nicely in the slot, he went back to a nearby coffeeshop to sit down & continue sipping his coffee. *gasp* So paiseh. But it's veri nice of him to come over & help...heheh....mebbe the car behind mine is his. & hence if he dont help us, his car might b in danger of being hit by a sotong mi!!! haha *bah*

Next, drop by mi BS in the aftn for further discussion on mi gowns. Hv no idea wat kind if design i shld hv for EG. So Shirley suggested a halter-neck design with a slit in front. Hence, she suggested for mi to buy shoes with ribbons/straps dat can b tied around the ankle. Hmm...gona start looking ard liaoz. I chose satin as the material as it looks somehow "grander" than thai silk leh. but colours veri limited. She suggested pastel yellow for mi, & the dress will hv a brown sash/ribbong around the waist. Hmm...but tot yellow will onli look gd on tanned gers? I'm so fair. & i dont realli like brown colour. Alittle skeptical on whether i can carry off this EG. Plus afraid dat i'll juz blend into the background in gp pics as pastel colours are not dat outstanding. Hmmm...but DD say juz trust shirley leh. Hah...okie lo *keep fingers crossed* Afterall, she's the experienced one in this line >.<>

Now, will be looking forward to my 1st fitting next month on the 17th!! =)
