TicTacTone presents Secret Diary!

Just back from drinks at Conrad. And of coz, not to 4get, hv oso attended a brilliant performance put up by a local a cappella group called "tictactone" (TTT). Their concert titled "Secret Diary" is held at Esplanade Recital Studio. woah... i'm veri much blown away by their performance! Veri impressed by all their talents and amzing unique vocals. A veri veri enjoyable & entertaining evening i had wif them! Their encor songs blew mi away further! Wat more can i say?

How i got to noe abt this gp's existence is all thnx to mi gd buddy MH. Her bf K, is one of its singer, known oso as the baritone as i later found out. haha...thru a little booklet abt this group, which was distributed before the concert. Coolz uh?! There is also a tenor, a bass, a soprano, vocal percussionist and a alto. All these vocalists form "Tictactone"!! erm...actualli i didnt even realise the gp's name is tictactoNE! Until XL whispered to mi during the concert dat she had tot the gp is named tictactoE, until she flipped thru the little booklet & discovered the correct spelling...oops!!!! haha.....even though i flipped thru the booklet, it still didnt occur to mi dat i've got the gp's name wrong too! *blush* keke......

I've heard from MH abt TTT performances all along, but frankly, wasnt so keen to go 4 them as i've tried attending choir/orchestral performances at Victoria Concert Hall and sadly to say, i've nvr realli made it thru them wide awake. So i'm quite wary of these kinda concerts, other than musical plays la. But then, this time round, i decided its time i show some support 4 mi gd buddy's bf's performance. hees....and boy....it's a real gd decision! kekeke.....

hah....was writing the above entry when i got hm on sundae morn ard 1am...but now is oredi Sundae nite ard 9.48pm & i'm continuing with this entry. Why?

Coz all a sudden, mi fone rang. Was wondering who can it be at 1am? Definitely not DD, coz tink he's gone case oredi & shld b zzing by now..... coz he juz had his D&D at suntec on sat evening as well & had a few glasses of drinks ...tsk tsk...he is oredi sounding quite high when he called mi on his way hm =Þ

Anyway, its JN!!! From mi ex audit firm. JN is with Mr KYK, who juz got back from an assignment in China. They were gng out 4 supper & tot of chking if i'm still awake...haha....mi picking up the fone caught them by surprise indeed. Coz once we were suppose 2 meet 4 supper too, but i fell alseep & missed their calls *gulp* But now, despite being quite tired & oredi in mi old sleeptime T & shorts, i decided 2 join them la. They intended to go airport initialli but in the end, we settled for a drink at ecp mac, which is now open 24 hrs. We decided to call Ms Y to see if she is still awake & able to join us as well. And my, veri awake she is indeed! She happened 2 b on her way hm after supper wif her frens when i called! Happening! haha... such an impromtu gathering & all of us can make it! We actualli started hanging out onli after an audit assignment 2gether. Glad all of us clicked during the assignment & it was fun..though its hard work too manz! haha.....though we nvr ended up on the same assignment animore, glad we still keep in touch =)

Okies....back to the concert! Yes. TTT! but well....guess I've sang enuff praises abt them oredi uh? hehe.... MH invited an ex-colleague to the concert as well. And this ex-colleague oso brought along his frens. A realli small world. Coz end up these frens of his oso noe one of the vocalist. Tink they were all from RJ previously. MH's ex-colleague & his frens were all doctors. Interesting. We had dinner 2gether at Ichiban Boshi at esplande b4 the concert. And after it, we went Conrad for a drink. Conrad realli hv amazing nuts & chops served at their lounge. And there's a singer & a pianist too. But darn, i'm hving a migraine. Felt quite terrible but yet didnt wan to miss out on all the fun, so still try 2 b chirpy! N mi mouth itchy la...so ate a few nuts & ordered a Tequila Sunrise. But the drinks & nuts made mi migraine worse. So i stopped & laid back against the big comfy chair 2 rest & juz listen to the conversations ard mi. These doctors certainly hv a number of interesting stories to share. Quite fun listening to their encounters they had in the normal course of their jobs, the different types of patients they come into contact wif etc. Like this guy was doing his nite shift @ A&E, suddenly this caucasian lady juz wobbled into the hospital...TOTALLY naked! She seem 2 b totally drunk & no longer conscious of her surroundings. So the hospital stuff quickly get some blankets 2 cover her & let her sleep on a bed at one corner. Soon after, this lady's bf stumbled into the hospital as well. He's equally drunk but well....at least clothed. He somehow found his gf & juz laid down on the flr besides the bed & both of them slept thru the nite at the hospital 2gether. The next morn, both of them hv no idea where they were! Wat was heard is dat the couple most prob had some dare/ bet wif their frens...but as to wat dat dare/ bet it was, it's anione's best guess...kekeke......

Soonafter, i started chatting wif this guy sitting beside mi. Hmm...looks can b deceiving! Though he looks rather fair-skinned & wearing huge harry-potter-like specs, i soon discovered he's into diving too! He has been diving since 12! & hv been to many m'sia/indonesia/philippines/australia dive spots oredi! woah!!!! & one of the next thin he wana try out is wake-boarding! Heyz! I wana try dat out too!!!!! Somehow, mebbe toking abt diving got mi excited, so after our animated chat, i felt mi head clearing up slightly! hmmm!! great! =) haha plus mebe the fact dat he had the same deep low voice as the bass guy in TTT...so ever soothing....haha....he sounds juz like a deejay on nite shift wif Class 95.. ^.^
