Nimlight's Little Diary: TGIF!!! hehe.....

Had another sumptous lunch today again! At the jap restaurant Shimizu downstairs at 4th level. yumm....nice! It's suppose to be a welcome lunch from HAF...haha...but kinda overdue for some of us. Say miself for eg...haha...am oredi slightly over a year old here oredi....cant believe it miself too. Realli didnt realise how time passes by and how long i've left audit oredi.....

But this lunch was kinda stress too! i mean...how can lunches with bosses ever be light-hearted & fun as our normal lunches with our peers at hawker centre? haiz....confirm wif hv "work-related" conversations. And true enuff, there are 7 of us..so each of us gona take turn to tok abt the good & bad points we feel about our company...ummm... Y bosses alwez like to ask these kinda questions one...who will ever tell bosses wat we're truely feeling abt our dept/ job scope or abt hving subordinates dat sometimes show attitude one =p

But anyway, todae is friday! yippeee!! Everyone r in high spirits! hees.... A colleague WP is gng tioman for a leisure diving trip later! wah...envious!!!! so fun! She also jio-ed mi...initialli gng redang somemore! But i oredi promised mi frens to attend a concert tis sat leh...& bought tix liaoz...so i guess i gonna give it a miss....aniwei another colleague KH is interested to go learn diving too! So next time, 3 of us can go 2gether!!!!

hmmm...kinda miss diving liaoz....juz got mi license this yr onli...or rather...2 mths back onli i tink. haha... Quite pleased abt it *hees* Coz its smth which i've been tinking abt going for all along but mi & mi frens alwez cant seem to find a suitable timing when all of us r free to go for lessons together. Now dat all of us have left audit, we finali hv free wkends to go!!! Quite siong. One wkend totally burnt from 9-5 coz one full sat is for theory lessons *yawnz* and another full sun is for pool lessons. Dat was real tiring too. Alwez "die-ed" when we gona lift dat super duper heavy oxygen tank outta the pool. Gona wok to the deep end of the pool to practise jumping into the waters. *gulp*

Went 4 the open water dive to Pulau Aur the following wkend. Wat a torture! It rained thru'out the whole nite when our bus was making its way from Sg to M'sia - Mersing. It was worse during our boat ride from Mersing to Pulau Aur. We were miserably cold & shivering all the time. Didnt get ani sleep at all. And when we arrived at the resort dat we'll b staying at, erm....we were abit taken back by the condition of the rooms....umm... & there's no heater. Only cold water for baths. oh dear...tink we're too spoilt! *sheepish grin* But somehow, we survived! Muz say the meals prepared by the resort owners themselved were pretty good! Had bbq seafood for dinner. Even durians! When we came back to the island for breaks in-btw dives, we even had donuts!! I can tell u donuts hv nvr tasted ani better manz!!!! haha!

The underwater world is sooo amazing! For someone like mi who hv nvr even snokelled before, the sceneries dat greet mi underwater are realli breath-taking! But diving is realli no joke. Quite worried initalli dat due to mi own blur-ness or clumsiness or forgetfulness, i might put mi own life in danger. Coz once u're in the waters, u're on ur own. Ur dive-master can help make sure u're in a safe surrounding, but ultimately u're responsible for ur own actions. I 4got for watever reasons, i held mi breathe 4 a short while (a veri impt point to note when diving is continuous breathing). And I instantly felt slight discomfort in mi lungs. Constant breathing is veri impt as the pressure on ur lungs will keep increase when u're going down the waters. So i quickly resumed mi breathing.

The weather during our dive is not fantastic either. The sky is gloomy and the waters rather choppy. And as we're still considered in the midst of the course, we gona do drills underwater. No fun. Plus cant swim ard non-stop to look at the endless stretch of corals, clown fishes etc...Hv to stop at some points to practise our netrual boyancy and hovering...*sighz*...dats y i'm realli craving for a totally leisure dive now! The dives we did during the course were all in super shallow waters. only abt 6-8m i tink...hmp!

Oh well..am sure mi turn will come soon! and lotsa adventure will be awaiting mi underwater! If onli mi DD can join mi! hehe.....Can guess which one is mi in the pics below? haha...no prizes though! =p
