1 year older....again!!!

Uh oh!! I am making mi 1st step into the late 20s age grp!!! haha....past the mid-20s category and going on to....26!!!!
haha...though its not exactly smth 2 rejoice abt but i still decided to take half day off work 2 give miself a break! & DD is so sweet 2 do the same as well!

Though this morn at work is abit spoilt by mi mgr's foul mood again but heck la! I got a feeling she's juz biting her own tongue 2 stop herself from commanding mi to cancel mi pm leave manz. Aniwei, i still stayed back 45 mins into lunch hr to tie up some loose ends k! hmp! Aniwei, so glad to leave office finalli! Fresh air at last! & bright sunlight! The feeling's wonderful! kekek...........

Went down bugis seiyu to pick up mi Seikisho Mask White from the Kose counter. This mask was out of stock for weeks and i was juz informed yesterdae that stock came in. Hvnt tried it b4 but since mi cousin strongly recommended it, i tot i wld give it shot! Mi face do need a more proper skin care regime liaoz...hees.... Then a red sticker on the mask's packaging caught mi eye. Women's Weekly - Best Beauty Buy 2005. ummm...woah....is this mask dat gd? i shall find out soon! Watch out for my verdict!!! >.<

Wanting 2 get a little present 4 miself, i decided to get 1 of their limited edition Eye Fantasist, a gel like shimmering eye shadow. I got the green colour! Coz i find it a refreshing new colour 2 try out! Tink I'm been sticking to blue eyeshadow 4 a tad too long! *grin*
(afternote: darn...4got i lent mi digi cam to mi aunt 4 her overseas trip. So cant take pic of mi new buys!! *sulk*)

When i'm abt to make pymt 4 mi purchases, DD arrived! He was carrying 2 huge paper bags. 1 bag was a bag from Ness. A gift from his sis & bro-in-law. wah...i'm so touched. Didnt expect a gift from them. So paiseh. Made a mental note muz reciprocate & get stuff for their babee too! which will be due in Jan next year. Plus DD mentioned his bro-in-law's bdae coming soon too...so we'll b getting smth too! ^.^ Another bag contains a mooncake box! hmm....suspicious. He bought an ice-cream cake? Coz he keep lamenting the weather is too hot! His surprise is melting! And finalli after lunch, he took out the mooncake box & ask mi to open it. Gasp! DD hand-made a cheese cake for mi!!!! Wif loads & loads of cocoa powder on it somemore. Again...no digi cam 2 take a pic of it *sobz* But nvrtheless, we tucked in! ummm....yummy!! delicious! I mean it! So touched by his efforts. He nvr fails 2 surprise mi wif his creativity again! Muackksssss!!!!!

When home, "stunned" mi sis's digi cam 2 take a quick snap shot of watever dat was left of this lovely "ai4 xin1" cheesecake!! haha...actualli quite a lot as u can see.....coz we're still rather full from our lunch! =Þ


Now thinking back on todae, it was indeed a memorable day. Other than the sweet gesture from DD and bdae wishes from gd buddies MH, Xl, YF etc, i've also received a number of unexpected wishes from frens whom i myself hv 4gotten when their bdaes are. oh dear....felt so bad & lousy. Made another mental note 2 make more effort in remembering fren's bdaes!!! Coz i realised juz a simple bdae wish can actualli make mi feel so happie. So i wld luv 2 make others happie whenever possible too!

Let mi recall. In the morn, mi cousin YL msged mi. An old sec fren SY too. Even YK and LYN too. And Ja!! Tot she's too bz wif work to keep in touch, coz the last i heard from her is she juz got promoted! =) Mi neighbour, RA who is juz sitting in the cubicle besides mi in office, even bought a small mango cake from breadtalk 4 mi. *sniff* realli blessed to hv such sweet frens. Oh yes! And not 2 4get the most surprising call i got. Its from an ex-colleague from AA. He is now working in Brisbane wif his wife. Juz attended his wedding this yr in fact. He juz landed in Sg last nite & as he puts it, he was flipping thru his organiser & saw dat mi bdae was up next. So he called. Well, at least he bothered 2 flip thru his address bk & at least, he even wrote down mi bdae in his organiser in the 1st place! haha
