First day back to work....

And needless to say, it's dready & sucky!!! Due to my refusal to check any work email from hm during my maternity leave, i hv tonnes & tonnes of email to clear. And not to mention new emails coming in oredi.....and WITH action points!!! Sianz lor......juz 1st day only, how productive does everyone expect me to be?

The even more sian part is....everyone macham "misses" me and suddenly schedule meetings with me today. Peng san....cant i just even have a day of peace to settle in slowly and get back my momentum to work again slowly? It's not really dat easy to try to recollect where i've left off 12 weeks ago!!!!

And well, to add to the stress, i need to allocate out 30mins after lunch everyday to do wat a cow needs to do......argh!!!! So i stopped chking email for a while and wanted to book a nursing room. And gosh....there are 2 nursing rooms & they're both FULLY booked till end APR 09!!! Gosh!! There is this lady that books one of the room every 3 hours lor!!!! bahhh!!! So my advice to some preggy colleagues now is that....book the nursing room before u start ur maternity leave!!! HAHA
So no choice, gona fall back on the meeting rooms. And surprisely, there are not many bookings for the meeting rooms this few weeks! Mebe everyone is in a hol & CNY mood & hence, no mood to work n hv meetings...haha haha.....

1st day went ok with me trying to clear emails & not really starting to settle issues yet. 2nd day...i was Xtremely tired!!! It's no joke trying to get littl K to sleep by 1am and then waking up at 430am to feed her & to do a cow's job at 5am before getting ready for work & to bring little K to MIL hse. I seriously hv no idea how to survive this long-term, esp given dat this is only a short week. I've yet to go thru a FULL working week with increasing work stress that is yet to come......sighz........

Whenever i'm sian of chking emails, i'll look at my hp coz my current wallpaper is this:- (The bib is v cute hor!! Very useful...thanks to my dear cousin who is an air-stewardess & she kabop quite a few from SQ for me....kekekek)

I really miss seeing a awake little gal in the morning. (She is alwez deep in slumberland when we carry her over to MIL hse.) She's at her chirpy-est in the morning ard 9 - 10am and happiest and loves to flash a megawatt smile at me whenever i say "Good Morning!!" And lately, she hv also begins to laugh!!! But i cant get a good pic leh...alwez blurry....

Though work sux and SOME colleagues oso sux...but wat kept me gng are a few nice souls ard (no. of nice souls can be counted with just fingers on 1 hand lorrrr). I didnt expect to receive a realli realli sweet welcome gift from a v nice colleague!!! She actuali went to facebook & printed some of little K's pics & made a little scrap-art piece for me!!! She knows i'll definitely miss little K and hence this little gift!!! So thoughtful lor!!! awww...realli realli touched!!! V nicely done up rite??!!!
This lovely fren even left a belated xmas pressie on my desk....and it's a very cute speaker for my ipod in the shape of a little lamb!!!!
