Oouchh!!

Poor husband!!! He's down wif "snake head disease"!!! Sound scary uh!!! It's otherwise known as "shingles", which i later found out online...and the symptoms described matched exactly to wat DD is going thru rite now..... aiyo... "intractable pain in his right chest and back that "seemed to come from the inside and many pinkish-red blisters in that same area".....

He had refused to see a doc initially, insisting dat the doc wldnt knoe wat's happening to him ... Aiyo...Nearly wana box him! A doc wld hv seen many more cases than he can ever imagine... and is much more knowledgeable that he tinks... But as usual..he turned a deaf ear 2 mi naggings! Hah.... in the end, tink the pain got the better of him and he finali decided to c the doc tis morn...3 days after those blisters appeared.. and guess wat!! All a sudden, he became veri impressed wif the doc after his consultation. Reason being...at one glance at his blisters, the doc is able to describe exactly and accurately all the symptoms dat DD noted himself too... aiyo...wat can i say? haha

To tink dat he even blamed our bed for his back aches lorr....not knoeing it's one of the symptoms too.... haha...but i didnt believe him for dat at all coz i totally refuse to doubt our super duper expensive mattress!!! muahahaha

Aniwei...turn out...shingles cannot b underestimated! Nvr seen MIL so fierce b4! She lectured DD not to take this lightly, saying "It's like a snake and if the two ends of the snake meet, you die" **Gulp** And she's pretty upset we onli informed her todae. But we onli found out it's shingles todae leh.... >.< Worried, i went online to search for more info and to my relief, i found out dat shingles, although terribly painful, if not life threatening.

By the way, i'm safe. hee.... One can onli get shingles if one hv had chicken pox b4. Thank gdness for the vacinnation i had during uni!
