More hsehld stuff bought!!

Had been a hectic but fruitful wkend. Though i'm still not feeling veri well, still went almoz all ard the island with DD to scout for the cheapest possible electrical appliances!!! Quite interesting.

On sat morn, we met the curtain pple at our new place, so they can take measurements & give us a quotation. Looking forward to our day & nite curtains!!! They hv nice fabric! =)

Next, we went town to collect DD's shirt & suit. Squeezed in a little shopping & bought a white jacket!!! One which i hv alwez been looking for!! Yay....hees.....DD keep irritaing mi when i'm trying on the jacket & oso keep passing ridiculous comments .... Grrr.... The salesgal actualli commented to mi dat mi bf veri farnie...haha... then DD went rattling off again..... "bf? no no....husband" Then he pulled mi hand up to show mi wedding band to the salesgal...haha...ah doi!!!!! kok his head!! That salesgal was quite shocked! She tot DD is like onli ard 20 yrs old & mi....erm...18!!!! kekeke.....

Aniwei...thereafter, we went Ang Mo Kio & the px quoted to us for the TV we're aiming for is the cheapest. Plus got 3 yrs warranty...so we paid in full liaoz....Sharp Aquos 37AX3 $3,750

Then we proceed to Bukit Timah to buy our fridge & washer. The shop pple like not veri honest leh. I called before to enquire abt the px but when we went into the shop & asked abt the price again, it's totally 2 different stories.....They said if i've done mi research on the prices, of coz they'll give mi the best price they can. But if i juz walk in & ask ask onli w/o noeing how much other shops are offering, then they wldn't quote mi a gd price....Duh!!!!

But in the end, they manage to match the low prices they quoted to mi over the fone la....abit worried but since i heard gd reviews abt them on the net in the forums, i guess shld b okie. Onli placed a $50 deposit. To be delivered this sat. Bought panasonic fridge NR-B472B for $685 & Thomson top-load washer TX-828 for $840. Quite a gd deal lah i feel heheh >.<



On sun, we went Ikea to bought a TV bench. It's veri simple & nice & of coz most imptly cheap!!! But it's onn rollers & dat's smth i dont quite like. No choice la.... $$ constraint... DD said will try to get our ID to do smth abt it, mebe can improvise on the bench legs....get smth nicer to replace the rollers...oh yes manz!!! haha

Dropped by an ex-colleague's luv nest to take a look...woah...real nice! And our taste are veri similar. We like simplistic clean-cut stuff. haha...we bought our sofa from Evov Living & are aiming a bed frame from Air. He's the opp. He bought his sofa from Air (one which we've eyed before oso) & his bed frame from Evov. haha......His tv conso is from Air. Veri nice! But too expensive 4 us ....sighz... i can onli imagine how it will look like in our living room.... =ppppppppppppppp wahahahaha
